I began my journey in film and television at 16, working as a runner for a local documentary drama production company. I jumped in head first and immersed myself in every department, volunteering my time to get a firsthand taste of the industry and build a strong foundation within production.

At 18, I got my ticket to London and stepped into the HETV world as a runner on the BBC drama Bodyguard. This role opened the door to even greater opportunities, leading to my position as a Production Assistant on the first season of Netflix’s re-boot of Top Boy. Over three years in production, I gained an in-depth understanding of what it takes to make a production come together—from the back office to the front lines.

Determined to be in the action, I made a deliberate career shift to start again as a floor runner within the AD department. This move allowed me to leverage my comprehensive production experience while stepping into a more dynamic, on-set role.

As I have advanced through the AD ranks, I have had the privilege of working across a diverse array of productions, including HETV dramas, feature films, documentary drama’s, TVC commercials & branded content.

10 years on, I still love it and continue to expand my knowledge every time I pick up my radio and step onto set.
